It's possible to show the satellite maptype just like Google Earth. You can zoom, but also skew and will see 3d objects etc and can just add your markers or kml-file! It's added in version 2.11b of my plugin.

If you don't want to see this maptype button then set the google maps api lower then 2.113 at the configuration of the plugin!
You can add ads to your map with the adsmanager (version >= 2.11a). It's possible to show ads and link them to your adsense account and specific channel. There are not many ads yet on the map (mostly USA).

Extra parameters:
maxads - maximum advertisements
adsense - your adsense id
channel - your channel of adsense
searchtext - for specific keywords to filter advertisements
You can ad local search to your map (version >= 2.11a). It's possible to show ads and link them to your adsense account and specific channel. Can't be used with Googlebar!
