Get the Google api key

2. Get the optional Google API Key

2.1.1 Google API Key: Goto Google API Console

For Google maps API version 3 you do not need a key. It is optional.

If you want to see your usage of Google Maps then register for a key at Google API key at: http://code.google.com/apis/console

2.1.2 Google API Key: If necessary Register a Google account

2.1.3 Google API Key: Select Maps API

2.1.4 Google API Key: Restrict domains and copy API key

You can restrict the API key to your domains. Use:

*.yourdomain.com/*

Or use specific subdomain instead of the wildcard *.

3.Configure plugin

3.1 Goto plugin manager

3.3 Enter optional Google api key and enable plugin
