You can place a Picasa album on a map in Joomla. Updates in your album will show (almost) directly in your map.
Use the link behind the show in google earth link when showing the map in picasaweb.google.com .

It also works with the GeoXML renderer with sidebar.
There are bugs (twice the photo on map and infowindow doesn't show photo).

JavaScript must be enabled in order for you to use Google Maps.
However, it seems JavaScript is either disabled or not supported by your browser.
To view Google Maps, enable JavaScript by changing your browser options, and then try again.
