It's possible to show the satellite maptype just like Google Earth. You can zoom, but also skew and will see 3d objects etc and can just add your markers or kml-file!

If you don't want to see this maptype button then switch off the show google earth maptype in the configuration of the plugin.

You can set several layers for the Earth maptype:

• earthbuildings - To show buildings in 3D
• earthroads - To show roads on the map
• earthterrain - To show terrain in 3D on the map for hills and mountains
